MotorManiac, the motorsport and lifestyle brand under Bateriku, has unveiled full details of its highly anticipated 4th Annual Event during a press conference at Bateriku Garage (BGarage) in Shah Alam. The one-day celebration will take place on Saturday, 6 September 2025, at the MyTown Kuala Lumpur rooftop, transforming the skyline into a festival of cars, culture and creativity. Organisers are expecting a record-breaking turnout, with more than 30,000 visitors set to gather in what promises to be the brand’s biggest edition yet.

This year, MotorManiac will showcase over 600 modified cars spanning various categories, from local favorites to Japanese Domestic Models (JDM), Continental icons, and sleek Super Cars. With the rooftop venue offering a panoramic sunset-to-midnight backdrop, the event is expected to be one of Kuala Lumpur’s most photogenic gatherings for car enthusiasts and lifestyle seekers alike.

The press conference also highlighted the wide range of partners supporting the event. Among them are Astra, UVR, Retro Havoc, Printing, Kahf and GGR Motor as main partners, while official sponsors include Mr Absorber, Kopi Saigon, Driveo and Petronas Lubricant. Streetwear culture will also play a major role, with collaborations from Headers, Super Sunday, Abstrax and Choii Motorsports. Long-time supporters such as BWB, Biadap, Downshift, SFS Garage, Indiscrete, Antera Motorsports, 199 Garage and Placed continue to anchor the event’s community spirit.

Adding energy to the press launch was emcee Killa Driz, who introduced a surprise performance by Desa Pandan’s own rap talent, ChronicalZ. The entertainment line-up for the main event will be equally dynamic, with performances from ALYPH, EEMRUN, Dann N Qrack and 53 Universe set to headline a rooftop hip-hop concert.

MotorManiac 2025 also marks the brand’s expansion onto the international stage. Collaborations include UK-based digital collective CarCvlT, known for its underground automotive storytelling, Australian motoring journalist and content creator Clay Wong, and Japan’s Tatsu Miyagawa, a celebrated photographer and JDM tastemaker. Their involvement cements MotorManiac’s growing global footprint and positions the event as more than just a local car meet.

Motorsport competitions remain at the heart of the festival. This year’s programme introduces the ASTRA Cup, a new challenge trophy that will see winners engraved annually to build prestige and legacy. Other crowd-pulling contests include the King of Maniac challenge, the 2 Step Competition and the Car Limbo Contest. Beyond motorsport, attractions such as the Mini Diecast Expo will cater to collectors and families, while a Lucky Draw will give attendees the chance to win an EV Bike from GGR Motors by purchasing MotorManiac merchandise or Bateriku vouchers.

Unlike previous years, which spanned two days, this edition will be packed into a single day, running from 10 a.m. to midnight. Organisers believe this format will intensify the “festival-like atmosphere” as all activities, performances and competitions unfold within a continuous 14-hour celebration. General admission is set at RM20, with free entry for children under 12 and persons with disabilities.

Founder and event lead Mikhail Faizi, better known as Mike, described the evolution of MotorManiac as a reflection of lifestyle and culture as much as motorsport. “The heart of MotorManiac has always been about more than cars. It’s about lifestyle, culture and community. By bringing it all together on a single rooftop with KL’s skyline as our backdrop, we are creating a one-day festival that will be alive from morning till midnight. The ASTRA Cup and our global media partners are proof that what started as a local movement is now resonating on the world stage.”

With its unique blend of horsepower, style, music and international collaborations, the 4th MotorManiac Annual Event is set to be one of the most defining lifestyle and motorsport gatherings in Malaysia.
