Lotus’s Malaysia successfully hosted the third edition of its Ceria Charity Run 2025 (CCR’25) at Lotus’s Bandar Bukit Puchong, welcoming more than 4,500 runners and over 120 brand partners to support education initiatives. The event raised RM400,000 for the Lotus’s – PINTAR SMART Up School Programme, reinforcing Lotus’s commitment to empowering under-resourced communities through education.
Since its launch in 2023, the “Jom Lari, Kutip & Kongsi Ceria” run has become an eagerly anticipated annual event, attracting participants of all ages from both Malaysia and abroad. The funds raised will be directed into sustainable education programmes designed to improve academic performance, foster personal growth, and provide better access to learning resources for underserved schools across the country. Initiatives such as the SMART Shopper Plus workshop, which teaches financial literacy, money management, and positive shopping habits, have already made a tangible impact on thousands of students. Looking ahead, Lotus’s and PINTAR aim to reach 50,000 students nationwide in the coming years.
CCR’25 featured three race categories: 15KM, 10KM, and 5KM. Along the route, runners received reusable Lotus’s bags filled with items including Tom Yum instant noodles, Caramel Latte sachets, Nax Nax biscuits, and Coca-Cola’s Fuze Tea. Every participant who crossed the finish line was rewarded with a CCR’25 medal and a selection of branded treats valued at up to RM350.

Lotus’s Malaysia CEO Saksit Panurach expressed his gratitude, noting the growth of the event from 3,000 participants in 2023 to over 4,500 this year. He highlighted that the run had evolved into a meaningful movement combining health, unity, and social purpose, and thanked the brand partners and participants for their support in giving back to education programmes that will shape the future of the youth.
Beyond the races, attendees enjoyed a vibrant Race Village with more than 40 product sampling booths, interactive activities, and food trucks. Brands such as Nescafe, Milo, Nestum, Koko Krunch, Enercal, Omega, Nestle Ice Cream, Jacobs, Chips More, Oreo, Tiger, Dugro, Aptamil, Ahmad Tea, Farm Fresh, Yeos, Gillette, Schick, Happy, Mi Sedaap, Chagee, and Horlicks engaged visitors, while popular mascots including Lotus’s LoLo the polar bear, Mondelez’s Cookie Guy, Tiggo, Coca-Cola’s Cola Bear, and Breeze’s mascot brought excitement to the family-friendly atmosphere.
The event concluded with a lucky draw and a mock cheque presentation to the PINTAR Foundation. A total of 197 prizes were awarded, with the grand prize being a SHARP 75-inch 4K UHD Google TV and a Zero ZT-Velox Treadmill, leaving participants with memorable experiences and a strong sense of contribution to education.
