For decades, IJM Land has been instrumental in shaping the growth and transformation of Bandar Puncak Alam, long before the township rose to prominence as one of the Klang Valley’s most promising corridors. From the development of early housing projects to the creation of key infrastructure and amenities, IJM Land’s presence has been deeply intertwined with the township’s evolution. Continuing this legacy, the developer unveiled Suria Park—a green landmark within the Suria Hill township—marking another milestone in its mission to build not just homes, but thriving communities rooted in wellness, inclusivity, and enduring value.
In celebration of this achievement, IJM Land recently hosted a Tree Planting Program at Suria Park, uniting residents, community leaders, and partners to nurture trees symbolising growth, unity, and sustainability for future generations. Spanning 4.42 acres with an investment of RM3 million, Suria Park is designed by HODA Design and inspired by the sun—Suria—which represents vitality, warmth, and renewal. The park’s landscape serves as a living canvas where vibrant shrubs and resilient trees provide shade, strength, and seasonal beauty. Environmentally friendly design principles are evident throughout, with natural earth drains, deep-rooted trees for slope stability, and sustainable materials that minimise environmental impact, creating a park that remains robust and ecologically balanced for years to come.

Envisioned as a sanctuary for all ages, Suria Park offers an impressive range of facilities including a 400-metre jogging track, 250-metre hiking trails, multipurpose courts for basketball, futsal, badminton, pickleball, and sepak takraw, as well as a skate park and climbing wall for children. Families can enjoy quality time at the Suria Children’s Playground, while pet owners can utilise the dedicated Cat Park. Outdoor fitness stations, gazebos, shaded seating, and ample parking make the park a complete recreational destination. Accessibility and inclusivity were also key considerations—barrier-free pathways, wheelchair-friendly equipment, tactile paving, and well-lit routes ensure that everyone can enjoy the park comfortably and safely.
Suria Park is part of a broader vision for Suria Hill, which will feature 29 acres of parks and gardens across five phases. Each phase introduces a unique “pocket park,” such as the Vitality Garden, Sensory Garden, Sunrise Garden, Joyous Garden, and Spice Garden, each contributing distinct experiences to the township’s landscape. A 4.6-kilometre hiking and jogging trail connects these green spaces, allowing residents to enjoy scenic hilltop views while staying active. Together, they form a cohesive green network that defines the identity of Suria Hill and enhances the township’s livability.

According to Datuk Chai Kian Soon, Chief Operating Officer of IJM Land, the company’s mission has always been to create townships that evolve alongside families and their aspirations. “Suria Park reflects that vision. It enriches daily life, whether through a morning jog, an evening stroll, or a lively game on the courts. It’s a safe, welcoming space where people can connect and feel part of something larger,” he shared.
Echoing this sentiment, Tuan Haji Mohammad Faisal Ismail, Political Secretary to the Minister of Health Malaysia, commended Suria Park as a model of how thoughtfully designed public spaces can strengthen communities. “Suria Park invites families, neighbours, and children to come together in a safe and lively setting while reinforcing the social fabric of Bandar Puncak Alam. It sets a positive benchmark for future developments in Kuala Selangor,” he remarked.

Beyond the park, Suria Hill embodies IJM Land’s holistic approach to modern township living. Spread across 170 acres of elevated terrain, the township sits 50 metres above sea level and emphasises low-density planning with just ten units per acre. Its first phase, Soren, launched in March 2025 with 142 two-storey link homes, achieved an impressive 80% take-up rate, marking a significant milestone with a gross development value (GDV) of RM87.9 million. Building on this momentum, IJM Land will introduce Sovana in February 2026—featuring 96 two-storey link homes on 20’x70’ lots, with a GDV of RM70.9 million. These homes are designed for multigenerational living, featuring open layouts, premium finishes, and EV isolator points—all nestled in the serene environment adjacent to Suria Park.
Suria Hill also enjoys excellent connectivity via Persiaran Mokhtar Dahari, LATAR Expressway, Guthrie Corridor Expressway, DASH, and NKVE, ensuring easy access to Petaling Jaya, Shah Alam, Subang, Damansara, and Kuala Lumpur. The West Coast Expressway enhances north-south travel, while the upcoming East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) station, just one kilometre away, will link Puncak Alam to Malaysia’s national rail network. Residents are further supported by nearby conveniences such as Lotus’s, Econsave, Jaya Grocer, KIP Mall, Elmina Lakeside Mall, Universiti Teknologi MARA Puncak Alam Campus, and Hospital Al-Sultan Abdullah UiTM, ensuring access to education, healthcare, and retail within minutes.

With its seamless integration of nature, community, and modern living, Suria Hill exemplifies IJM Land’s vision of sustainable township development—a place where families can thrive, communities can connect, and future generations can grow in harmony with their surroundings. Suria Park stands as the living heart of this vision—a sanctuary of life, connection, and renewal in the heart of Puncak Alam.
