This swift rollout reflects the company’s commitment to efficiency, customer readiness, and advancing Malaysia’s electric vehicle (EV) landscape.
The highly anticipated BYD SEAL 6 — available in Arctic White, Harbour Grey, and Misty Blue — has reached showrooms across both Peninsular and East Malaysia, with the first batch of customers already receiving their vehicles. Malaysians can now visit BYD outlets nationwide to see, test drive, and experience the refined driving dynamics of this C-segment electric sedan, which delivers a smooth and responsive performance designed to redefine EV standards in the country.

The BYD SEAL 6 introduces six best-in-class features, emphasizing handling, comfort, and performance. Among these are a first-in-BYD dual ball-joint MacPherson strut and rear multi-link suspension system, a segment-exclusive rear-wheel drive configuration, and class-leading dimensions for a spacious interior. The car also offers superior balance and maneuverability with a tight turning radius of 5.5 meters, alongside 24 smart storage compartments and a 525L combined cargo capacity. Powered by a 160 kW motor producing 330 Nm of torque, the SEAL 6 accelerates from 0–100 km/h in just 7.5 seconds, offering three selectable driving modes for different driving preferences.
In Malaysia, the BYD SEAL 6 is priced between RM100,000 and RM115,800, with an exclusive launch package worth up to RM6,288 available for the first 800 customers. Buyers can choose from two options: a complimentary wall charger and rebate for landed property owners, or a 12-month Sime Platinum 4+ doorstep charging program for high-rise residents. Each purchase also includes a Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) adapter, a Type 2 charging cable, and comprehensive warranty coverage — six years or 150,000km for the vehicle, and eight years or 160,000km for both the drive unit and high-voltage Blade Battery.
Looking ahead, BYD Sime Motors plans to expand its network of outlets from 37 to 50 by 2026, ensuring wider access to sales, service, and charging facilities across the nation. This expansion underlines the company’s long-term vision to drive EV adoption and establish BYD as a key player in Malaysia’s sustainable mobility transition.
