Tsuburaya Fields Entertainment International has announced an exciting new collaboration for its Ultraman Card Game, teaming up with DAN DA DAN creator Yukinobu Tatsu, one of today’s most celebrated manga artists. The partnership was officially revealed at the Tsuburaya Convention 2025, unveiling a stunning original illustration of Alien Metron – The Hallucination Alien, featured as an exclusive box-topper card for the upcoming Booster Pack Vol. 5: “Heroes of the Radiant Dawn”.
This collaboration marks a major milestone in celebrating the first anniversary of the Ultraman Card Game. Tatsu, whose manga DAN DA DAN has captivated readers worldwide with over 10 million copies sold, lends his distinctive artistic style to reimagine the enigmatic Alien Metron in an evocative city-at-dusk setting. The exclusive promotional card will be included with every purchase of a 24-pack box of the “Heroes of the Radiant Dawn” booster, making it a must-have collectible for both Ultraman and manga enthusiasts.
Eiji Shishido, General Producer of the Ultraman Card Game, expressed his gratitude to fans, noting, “Tatsu is a globally renowned manga artist and a lifelong Ultraman fan. We collaborated with him to create this illustration for our first-anniversary Booster Pack as a way to thank players for their continued support.”

Echoing this excitement, Rudy Ng, Vice President of Tsuburaya Fields Entertainment International, added, “Yukinobu Tatsu’s unique style, which blends the eerie with a humorous charm, perfectly embodies the essence of Alien Metron. This card isn’t just a powerful gameplay addition—it’s a collector’s masterpiece that connects the modern manga world with the timeless Ultraman universe. We believe fans in Singapore, Hong Kong, and beyond will be thrilled to own this special release.”
Launching on Friday, 31 October 2025, the Heroes of the Radiant Dawn booster introduces innovative new gameplay mechanics and features Quad Rare (RRRR) cards highlighting enhanced versions of iconic Ultra Warriors such as Glitter Tiga and Shining Ultraman Zero. Later in the year, fans can also look forward to the release of “Ultra Deck 01: Ultraman Tiga & Ultraman Blazar”, a 60-card pre-constructed deck complete with official markers and exclusive sleeves—offering an accessible yet collectible experience for both newcomers and seasoned players alike.
This collaboration not only celebrates Ultraman’s enduring legacy but also bridges generations of fans through art, storytelling, and gameplay—uniting the classic heroism of Ultraman with the creative energy of Japan’s new wave of manga artistry.
