Kep West has officially announced the launch of its latest coastal development, Kep Exhibition Plaza (K.E.P.), a landmark project that signifies a major step in redefining Kep as a vibrant destination for culture, lifestyle, and sustainable tourism. The announcement was made during a special press conference and investor presentation at Raffles Hotel Le Royal in Phnom Penh, where the development’s key components — The Lighthouse and The Beach Club — were introduced as the next icons of Cambodia’s southern coast.

Strategically located along Kep’s scenic shoreline between the Crab Market and The Wave, The Lighthouse is envisioned as a dynamic mixed-use destination that will elevate the coastal experience with high-end retail, dining, and creative spaces. Designed as a contemporary architectural landmark overlooking the sea, it will house concept restaurants, boutique stores, event venues, and a versatile ballroom suitable for private events, weddings, and seaside conferences.

Complementing it, The Beach Club will redefine waterfront leisure with an atmosphere of relaxed sophistication. The venue will feature a beachfront restaurant, bar, infinity pool, and lounge areas, catering to both locals and international visitors seeking quality hospitality and vibrant social experiences. It will also serve as the home of the Royal Cambodia Yacht Club (RCYC), strengthening Kep’s reputation as a premier maritime destination.

“The Lighthouse and The Beach Club represent a new era for Kep,” said Jef Moons, owner of Kep West. “These projects are designed to honor Kep’s heritage while shaping a forward-looking coastal destination that integrates architecture, community, and culture. We are proud to present this vision to our investors, partners, and future tenants.”

During the announcement, Letters of Intent (LOIs) were signed with several anchor tenants, including Seven Seas Restaurant, E-Mart, and Cambodia’s leading coffee chain, with more partnerships expected in the near future. The strong initial interest reflects investor confidence in Kep’s growth potential and in The Lighthouse’s promise as a world-class coastal development.

The new developments form a core part of Kep West’s broader master plan to rejuvenate the coastline through an integrated approach that balances sustainable design, cultural innovation, and economic opportunity. Central to this vision is Art for Kep, a creative platform connecting local and international artists through residencies, exhibitions, and collaborative projects. Notable initiatives like the Underwater Museum and Ocean Gallery fuse art with marine conservation and technology, underscoring Kep’s emerging role as a hub where creativity meets sustainability.

The event also served as a platform for potential investors and tenants to explore participation in Kep’s next phase of development. Construction of The Lighthouse and The Beach Club is slated to begin in 2026, with grand openings scheduled for the 2027–2028 season.

Through projects such as Knai Bang Chatt, The Wave, The Lighthouse, The Beach Club, and Art for Kep, Kep West continues to advance its mission of transforming Kep into a model of inclusive, creative, and environmentally conscious development in Southeast Asia.
