GLENMARIE, SHAH ALAM — The ROSEN Group recently commemorated HSE Day 2026 by celebrating a landmark operational achievement: a flawless 100% closure rate for Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) actions across the entire Asia Pacific region. This significant milestone underscores the company’s unwavering dedication to maintaining world-class safety standards, proactive risk prevention, and strict accountability across all operational levels.
Marking a substantial improvement from the 70% closure rate recorded earlier in September, this achievement was powered by the active participation of employees. Staff members across the region contributed more than 800 safety observations and interventions, demonstrating a shared commitment to hazard identification and mutual protection. Floris Verhagen, Senior Vice President of ROSEN Asia Pacific, highlighted during the regional live broadcast that true safety begins with proactive awareness and timely intervention, emphasizing that employee vigilance remains the cornerstone of injury prevention and workplace wellbeing.
In tandem with its occupational safety milestones, ROSEN has deeply reinforced its corporate sustainability framework in Malaysia. Having maintained a strong operational footprint in the country for over 33 years, the company partnered with the Malaysian Nature Society (MNS) to plant more than 200 mangrove seedlings. This collaborative initiative aims to support coastal ecosystem restoration, boost local biodiversity, and cultivate environmental responsibility among employees.
