HONOR to Open Largest Overseas Experience Store and Service Centre in Johor Bahru, Showcasing Latest Innovations and Flagship Magic V5. HONOR is set to achieve another significant milestone in Malaysia with the grand opening of its largest overseas HONOR Experience Store and Service Centre at The Mall, Mid Valley Southkey in Johor Bahru. Scheduled to officially open on 26 July 2025, the 2,000 square foot flagship store will bring together retail, after-sales service, and hands-on product experiences under one roof, offering consumers a premium and immersive destination to explore the best of HONOR technology.
In celebration of the launch, HONOR is rewarding the first 200 customers who like and share HONOR Malaysia’s official Facebook page and leave a Google review on 26 July with a chance to win a robot cleaner. Additionally, shoppers who spend RM1,000 or more in a single receipt between 26–27 July will qualify for a lucky draw, with prizes worth up to RM40,000 up for grabs.
More than a conventional retail space, the new store is designed as a comprehensive experience centre. It features dedicated zones for customers to interact with HONOR’s latest innovations and ecosystem devices, including the highly anticipated HONOR Magic V5. At the interactive product zone, visitors can witness the Magic V5 floating on air to highlight its ultra-light design. Demonstrations also include a non-Newtonian fluid display, mimicking one of the protective layers of the inner screen, where customers can test its impact resistance. A hinge durability showcase proves the foldable phone’s robustness, withstanding a 35kg dumbbell, while a teardown display reveals the intricate engineering of its slim silicon carbon battery and advanced internal components—reinforcing the tagline “Slim with No Compromise.”
Since pre-orders began on 15 July, the HONOR Magic V5 has already made waves in Malaysia, achieving a 60% increase in sales volume compared to its predecessor, the Magic V3. This record-breaking success highlights a growing demand among Malaysian consumers for high-performance, ultra-slim foldable smartphones that offer flagship-level features such as advanced cameras, longer battery life, and powerful AI multitasking capabilities.
The HONOR Magic V5 will be available nationwide starting 25 July 2025 at a retail price of RM6,999, featuring 16GB RAM and 512GB storage, and available in four luxurious color options: Dawn Gold, Ivory White, Silk Brown, and Black. Customers purchasing the device will also receive free gifts worth RM2,697, including HONOR CHOICE Earbuds Clip, 1-Year Crack Protection, and a 2-Year Quality Assurance plan. An additional RM400 rebate is available through HONOR’s trade-in program, valid until 31 August 2025, at participating Maxis, Senheng, Grand Senheng, SenQ, Urban Republic, and Harvey Norman outlets.
