    With a remarkable edutainment event named Sound Spirit Zainalabidin: The Legacy of Sound (Sound Spirit), renowned vocalist Datuk Zainalabidin Mohamed—a legend in the music industry—is poised to captivate spectators. The Kuala Lumpur Perfoming Arts (klpac) will host this unique event on Saturday, January 20, 2024. It promises to be an evening filled with inspirational stories, soulful music, and fascinating storytelling.

    Sound Spirit is an edutainment extravaganza that seamlessly combines music and aducation, drawing music enthusiasts, professionals, and businesses from across the industry.     During the media conference happening at the Heritage Club, Royale Chulan Kuala Lumpur, Datuk Zainalabidin announced that the concert is designed to attract a diverse audience, both locally and beyond, providing a unique fusion of entertainment and education. It promises an unforgettable experience for attendees, showcasing the intersection of talent, mentorship, and the uplifting power of music.

    With a special focus on students from B40 backgrounds, Sound Spirit aims to provide underprivileged music students with the opportunity to experience the transformative impact of music and arts. Sound Spirit has partnered with five top local universities, including the University of Technology MARA, the University of Malaya, UCSI University, Akademi Seni Budaya dan Warisan Kebangsaan (ASWARA), and Limkokwing University, that will actively promote the event among their students, particularly those enrolled in music courses.

    Datuk Zainalabidin believes that exposure to such cultural events can have a lasting positive impact on their lives, offering inspiration and joy that may otherwise be challenging to access. He said the concert is a testament to the power of musi as a force for positibe change, uniting people from all walks of life in a celebration of art and culture.

    “We are excited to create an event that goes beyond entertainment, providing a platform for learning and networking in the music industry. By including talented individuals and focusing on underprivileged students, we hope to contribute to the development of the next generation of musicians and artists,” says Dauk Zainalabidin.

    He added, “The production team of Sound Spirit is working very closely with a few potential sponsors who will provide financial support that will cover the cost of concert tickets, ensuring that underprivileged music students have the opportunity to attend this unique event.”
