Marking a significant milestone in regional technology engagement, Delta Electronics hosted its inaugural Delta SEAO Future Industry Summit 2026 in Singapore under the theme “Advancing Regional Infrastructure for AI and Energy Transformation Evolution.” Transitioning from seven consecutive years in Thailand, the prestigious summit convened over 200 government officials, industry executives, and academic leaders at the Pan Pacific Orchard to address the accelerating infrastructure demands driven by artificial intelligence and rapid electrification across Southeast Asia and Oceania.
A major highlight of the summit was Delta’s formal partnership announcement with the National University of Singapore (NUS) College of Design and Engineering (CDE). By joining the Sustainable Tropical Data Center Testbed (STDCT) Phase 2.0 Consortium, Delta will supply an advanced AI Containerized Data Center to support live research and testing under tropical operating conditions. With IDC data revealing that Southeast Asian operators are experiencing unprecedented power demand growth of 26% to 50% year-on-year outpacing both the US and Europe this collaboration aims to bridge the gap between innovation and real-world deployment, particularly in direct liquid cooling and energy-efficient thermal management.
Delta’s Chief Brand Officer, Shan-Shan Guo, and SEAO President Jason Yuan emphasized the urgent need for resilient power infrastructure, microgrid solutions, and ESG consulting to help businesses achieve net-zero targets. Building on recent regional expansions including new operations in Johor Bahru and Kuala Lumpur Delta continues to cement its leadership in power electronics and smart green solutions. Through strategic alliances with academic powerhouses like NUS, Delta is actively shaping a scalable, climate-resilient digital future for the entire region.
