KUALA LUMPUR — Building on its stellar market performance and reigning reputation as “Pilihan Utama Rakyat Malaysia,” the HONOR X9e Pro has taken durability testing to a cinematic scale. In an innovative collaboration with the Malaysian film TERBANG, HONOR has released two captivating commercial videos that brilliantly showcase the smartphone’s extreme ruggedness while celebrating a shared ethos of national pride, resilience, and unwavering determination.
Inspired by the true-life journey of national rally icon Karamjit Singh, TERBANG chronicles the emotional comeback of protagonist Ajeet as he confronts past demons, overcomes steep obstacles, and aims for international glory. His refusal to yield to adversity serves as a powerful metaphor for the robust engineering of the HONOR X9e Pro. In the first brand film, the smartphone is mounted to a speeding sports car, capturing high-velocity rally sequences across muddy trails and rough terrain while enduring flying stones, torrential rain, and constant mechanical impacts. Interwoven with flashbacks of Ajeet’s personal trials, the narrative highlights the device as a steadfast, dependable companion from struggle to triumph.
The second video injects a lighter, more dramatic tone as Ajeet is challenged to drive directly over the HONOR X9e Pro in a muddy training session. To his astonishment, the device emerges completely unscratched and fully functional, proving its formidable physical resilience. Behind this unbreakable performance is cutting-edge technology, including Ultra-Bounce Anti-Drop Technology 4.0 certified with an SGS 5-Star rating for harsh conditions which survives drops from up to 3 meters and reduces screen damage by 82%. Furthermore, the device boasts elite IP68, IP69, and IP69K water resistance ratings, capable of withstanding depths up to 10 meters thanks to its submarine-inspired architecture.
Priced at RM1,799 for the 256GB variant and RM2,299 for the 512GB model (after a RM1,799/RM2,299 instant rebate structure, complete with 24GB total RAM via HONOR Turbo RAM), the HONOR X9e Pro is available in Royal Purple, Reddish Brown, Dawn Gold, and Midnight Black. Each purchase comes bundled with a massive RM1,326 complimentary gift and protection package featuring an HONOR Watch 6i, 730-day crack and liquid damage coverage, and an extended warranty. Through this cinematic partnership, HONOR reaffirms its device as the ultimate, dependable companion for modern Malaysian consumers facing everyday challenges.
